Viewmont

Lenoir-Rhyne University
One of the most prestigious private universities in the state of North Carolina, Lenoir-Rhyne University has an enrollment of around 1,600 students each year and offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs. L.P. Frans Stadium – Hickory Crawdads
Hickory has its own minor league baseball team – the Hickory Crawdads – that play throughout the season at L.P. Frans Stadium, just 5 miles from Waterford Place Apartments. The Crawdads are a Class A Affiliate of the Texas Rangers.
The SALT Block
The SALT (Science, Art and Literature Together), is a campus near the center of Hickory that features the Catawba Science Center, the Hickory Museum of Art, the Western Piedmont Symphony and the Hickory Public Library. All of these facilities offer exciting services and programs for the community.
